Naqvi Issues Pakistan Travel Warning After Airport Inspection

Naqvi Issues Pakistan Travel Warning After Airport Inspection

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi delivered a firm Pakistan travel warning during a surprise visit to Lahore Airport. He stated that no passenger who harms the country’s reputation will travel abroad. He also said that he will not tolerate illegal immigration in any form.
Naqvi arrived with Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain. Both ministers inspected the airport for two hours and observed every major checkpoint. They also spoke with passengers and listened to complaints about delays and documentation issues.

Tough Action Against Illegal Travel

Immigration staff recently stopped a passenger linked with an FIA official in an alleged collusion attempt. They immediately refused him permission to travel. Staff also assured him that he would receive a refund from the private company involved in the case.
During the visit, Naqvi grew concerned over long queues and slow processing at the counters. He ordered immigration officers to speed up their work and improve coordination. He also praised the staff who handled both recent cases. He rewarded them from his personal funds and announced commendation certificates for their performance.
Naqvi stated that no one should travel without complete documents. He warned that he will take strict action against any officer who ignores these rules. He included FIA staff in this warning. He said the government cannot allow anyone to damage national credibility.
