Pakistan Celebrate Rawalpindi Cricket Win in Confident Display

Pakistan earned another Rawalpindi cricket win with a sharp all-round show on a lively Saturday night. The home crowd enjoyed every moment, as both the bowlers and batters delivered with confidence.
Mohammad Nawaz set the tone early. He struck twice in two balls and finished with 3-16. His efforts slowed Sri Lanka after a quick start. As a result, the visitors could only manage 128-7 in their 20 overs.

Sri Lanka Start Fast but fade

Sri Lanka opened well. Pathum Nissanka and Kamil Mishara attacked from the first ball. However, the momentum faded soon. Pakistan regrouped and applied pressure through tight spells in the middle overs.
Nawaz’s double strike rattled the visitors. In addition, sharp fielding supported the bowlers. Janith Liyanage played a brave hand with 41 not out, but the innings never fully recovered.

Sahibzada Seals the Chase

Pakistan chased with intent. Saim Ayub struck early boundaries to calm nerves. However, the real star was Sahibzada Farhan. He stayed calm throughout the innings and guided the reply with an unbeaten 80 off 45 balls.
He mixed clean drives with powerful sixes. Therefore, the target looked small soon after the halfway point. Even after two quick wickets late in the chase, Sahibzada kept control. He finished the match with a crisp boundary, sealing a comfortable victory for the home side.
Fans left the stadium satisfied. The team showed balance, confidence and strong teamwork. With two wins already, the hosts look set for a promising run in the series.
