Marvel Rivals Reveals New 18v18 Game Mode

Marvel Rivals reveals a massive new 18v18 game mode. The mode launches as part of the game’s first-anniversary celebration. It is the biggest and most chaotic mode in the hero shooter yet. Teams battle for domination on the brand-new Grand Garden map. This update also introduces a wealth of new rewards and costumes.

Chaotic Gameplay and Character Freedom

The new mode removes all character selection restrictions immediately. This allows multiple players to pick the same hero simultaneously. Players can now face teams with several identical powerful characters. The result is incredibly frenzied and intense large-scale battles.
Teams can field multiple Thors, Wolverines, or Storms at once. This freedom creates new, unpredictable tactical possibilities. The mode supports the game’s full roster of over 40 heroes. The new Grand Garden map is designed specifically for this chaos.

Anniversary Events and Premium Rewards

The anniversary update includes several limited-time events. These events offer free in-game currency and exclusive cosmetic items. Players can earn Units, an epic title, and a costume for Jeff the Shark. A premium upgrade also unlocks costumes for Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic.
The original Season 1 Battle Pass is also returning for a limited time. This allows new players to unlock past exclusive rewards. The update is live now alongside a Black Friday sale. This adds new costume bundles for characters like Blade and Venom.
