Pakistan Regional Stabiliser Role Highlighted by PAF Chief

Pakistan’s air chief says the Pakistan regional stabiliser role has grown stronger after the May conflict. Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu shared these remarks during a passing-out parade at the PAF Academy in Risalpur. He said Pakistan’s actions showed unity, strength and confidence.

Conflict Reflections and National Resolve

ACM Sidhu said the nation and its armed forces faced an enemy with greater numbers. However, Pakistan succeeded through discipline, planning and national unity. He added that the operations, known as Marka-i-Haq and Bunyanum Marsoos, reflected coordinated decisions and clear leadership.
The air chief credited the armed forces and national leaders for their resolve. In addition, he highlighted the importance of character, credibility and teamwork. He said this victory strengthened the Pakistan regional stabiliser role and improved ties with global partners.

Modernisation, Strategy and Future Readiness

Sidhu said the PAF carried out its first full-spectrum multi-domain operation. It used space, cyber tools, electronic warfare and advanced drones. According to him, global experts are studying the PAF’s tactics. He also noted that the force adapted quickly despite financial and technological challenges.
He said the PAF modernised its systems under the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park. This included new combat support tools, upgraded defence assets and innovative unmanned systems. Therefore, the air force now operates with better speed, accuracy and readiness.
The air chief said Pakistan seeks peace with all neighbours. However, he warned that any threat to sovereignty would meet a strong response. He urged young cadets to uphold values and prepare for future challenges.
He also welcomed Saudi cadets at the event, calling their presence a sign of strong
friendship. The ceremony marked a proud moment for the graduating officers.
