Sovereignty Assurance Warning Issued by Pakistan’s Defence Chief

Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, issued a strong Sovereignty Assurance Warning on Monday. He cautioned India against misreading Pakistan’s resolve. He said any future aggression would face a quicker and stronger response.
Addressing officers from all three armed forces in Rawalpindi, Munir spoke with confidence. He stressed that Pakistan seeks peace. However, he made clear that the nation will defend its borders without hesitation.
He highlighted unity as Pakistan’s greatest strength. According to him, readiness and discipline remain at the core of national defence. Therefore, no threat will go unanswered.

Unified Command and Defence Transformation

Munir called the newly formed Defence Forces Headquarters a historic step forward. He said the move strengthens joint planning and execution. It also improves coordination across land, air, sea, cyber, and space domains.
He explained that each service will retain operational independence. However, the unified structure will synchronize all actions. This system ensures faster decision-making during complex security situations.
Munir emphasized adaptability in the face of evolving threats. He noted that modern challenges require integrated responses. As a result, the tri-service approach improves overall combat readiness.

Regional Security and National Resolve

Turning to regional concerns, Munir addressed the Taliban leadership directly. He said
Pakistan has delivered a clear choice. They must stop supporting militancy or face consequences.
He repeated that Pakistan values regional peace. However, the state will not tolerate threats to sovereignty or territorial integrity. He added that national security remains non-negotiable.
Munir concluded with a confident message. He described Pakistan’s defence concept as invincible. Dedicated forces and a united population safeguard the nation under all circumstances.
