Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2025 Sees Asad Zaman Storm Into U-18 Final

Punjab Junior Tennis witnessed exciting action as Asad Zaman advanced to the U-18 final in Lahore. The Kamran Steel Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2025 continued at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah.
Asad Zaman, representing Ali Embroidery Mills, delivered a calm and confident performance.
He defeated Abdullah Razzaq 6-2 in the boys’ U-18 semifinal match.
Meanwhile, Ohad-e-Mustafa also booked his place in the final. He progressed after Abdullah Pirzada retired while trailing 4-3. Earlier, Asad dominated the quarterfinals with a clean 6-0 win over Aliyan Ali. Abdullah Razzaq, Abdullah Pirzada, and Ohad-e-Mustafa also recorded solid victories.

Young Talent Impresses Across Multiple Categories

Punjab Junior Tennis action stayed intense across younger age groups as well. In boys’ U-14 semifinals, M Muaz crushed Aliyan Ali 6-0. Ohad-e-Mustafa edged past M Ayan in a tense 7-6 tie-break encounter. As a result, fans witnessed high skill and composure from rising players.
In boys’ U-12 matches, M Muaz continued his dominant form with another 6-0 win. M Ayan also advanced after beating Shahzain Faisal 6-2. The U-10 quarterfinals delivered one-sided results across the board. Daniyal Afzal Malik, Shahreen Umer, and Hadi Ali Rizwan won in straight sets.
Girls’ matches added more excitement to the championship. Aiman Rehan and Khadija Khalil reached the U-12 semifinals with strong displays.
In the girls’ U-14 category, Aiman Rehan defeated Eman Shahbaz 6-3. Eesha Rabbi then secured a narrow 7-6 win over Khadija Khalil. Overall, Punjab Junior Tennis continues to highlight Pakistan’s growing young talent. The championship promises more thrilling finals in the coming days.
