Pakistanis Show Strong Optimism for 2026, Gallup Survey Reveals

Most Pakistanis feel hopeful about the year ahead, according to a new Gallup survey. The findings show strong Pakistan optimism 2026 across economic and social expectations. More than half of respondents believe conditions will improve.
Gallup Pakistan conducted the survey nationwide. Therefore, the results reflect views from across the country.

Pakistanis Expect Better Times Ahead

The survey asked citizens whether 2026 would be better than 2025. Around 51% said they expect improvement in overall conditions. However, 20% believed the situation could worsen.
Another 10% expected no change in the coming year. Meanwhile, 19% did not share an opinion. As a result, optimism still outweighed concern by a wide margin.
Gallup compared these findings with global data. Worldwide, only 37% of people expect improvement. In contrast, Pakistan’s optimism level stood much higher.

Positive Outlook on Economy and Global Peace

The survey also measured economic expectations. About 53% of Pakistanis believe the economy will improve in 2026. This result shows confidence despite ongoing challenges.
However, 27% expect tougher economic conditions ahead. Another 10% predicted stability, while the remaining respondents did not reply. Still, positive expectations remained dominant.
In addition, many Pakistanis expressed hope for global peace. Around 52% believe the world will become more peaceful in 2026. This figure reflects a hopeful international outlook.
Meanwhile, 21% foresee greater global instability. About 19% expect no change, and 8% shared no opinion. Therefore, optimism again exceeded pessimism.
Gallup noted that Pakistan’s peace outlook surpasses the global average. It also stands nearly double that of neighboring India. As a result, Pakistan ranked among the more hopeful nations surveyed.
In conclusion, Pakistan optimism 2026 highlights strong public confidence. Many citizens believe the future holds economic progress and greater global stability.
