Verge TS Pro Becomes First Production Bike With Solid-State Battery at CES 2026

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Verge Motorcycles revealed an upgraded TS Pro electric motorcycle. The highlight is a breakthrough solid-state motorcycle battery developed in partnership with Donut Lab. As a result, Verge moves electric bikes into a new performance era.
Unlike conventional lithium-ion packs, solid-state batteries use solid materials instead of liquid electrolytes. Therefore, they offer faster charging, improved safety, and longer lifespan. This technology also increases energy density, which directly boosts riding range.
Verge claims the TS Pro can travel up to 370 miles, or around 600 kilometers, on a single charge. In addition, fast charging can add about 186 miles, or 300 kilometers, in just 10 minutes. These figures place the bike among the longest-range electric motorcycles ever announced.

From Concept to Real-World Roads

What sets this launch apart is its production status. This is not a concept or prototype. Instead, the TS Pro became the first production motorcycle powered by a solid-state motorcycle battery. Deliveries are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Solid-state batteries have long promised major improvements for electric vehicles. However, manufacturing challenges delayed real-world use for years. Verge now claims it has solved key durability and scalability issues. As a result, the technology is ready for public roads.
Industry experts see this as a major milestone. By moving solid-state batteries into production motorcycles, Verge changes expectations for electric mobility. This step also signals broader adoption across the EV industry.
Overall, the Verge TS Pro represents more than a new model. It marks a turning point where next-generation battery technology finally reaches everyday riders.
