Pakistan’s Largest Tourism, Sports & Family Festival Set for Islamabad

Pakistan’s largest integrated festival of its kind is ready to launch. The “Karvan-e-Pakistan” tourism, sports, and family festival will kick off this Saturday. It is set to take place at Ayub National Park in the capital, Islamabad.
Organized with the support of federal ministries, the event runs for three days. It promises a massive showcase of national culture, adventure, and cuisine. Therefore, it aims to boost domestic tourism and provide premier family entertainment.

A Mega-Event with Diverse Attractions

The festival boasts an impressive scale and variety. It will feature over 300 stalls across dedicated zones. These include a Craft and Culture Bazaar, a Pakistan Food Street, and a Tourism Pavilion highlighting destinations from all provinces.
Adventure and sports are a major focus. The festival will host paragliding, rock climbing, ziplining, and paintball. There will also be traditional games, football tournaments, and a dedicated cycling race to engage visitors of all ages.

Celebrating Culture and National Pride

Live cultural performances will be a constant highlight. Folk music and dance troupes from across Pakistan will perform on multiple stages. The event also includes a grand fireworks display to celebrate national spirit.
A key goal is to promote domestic tourism and unity. The Tourism Pavilion will allow visitors to explore Pakistan’s diverse regions in one place. The festival is designed to be an inclusive, affordable outing for families from all backgrounds.

Authorities emphasize that this is more than just an event. It is a project to position Islamabad as a hub for national tourism and healthy recreation. The festival supports local artisans, small businesses, and the hospitality sector.
With free entry and activities for all ages, “Karvan-e-Pakistan” expects to draw massive crowds. It represents a significant step in celebrating the country’s potential and fostering a vibrant domestic tourism culture.
