GRIMPS Chaotic Shooter Demo Launches Today

Developer WATT Studio announces the public demo is now available for its wild and colorful arena shooter. The GRIMPS shooter demo launched on February 3 in US time zones and is live globally, letting players battle hordes of deadly possessed plush toys. The game features a unique visual style with bold color blocking and stylized textures. Players fight to rescue a missing lover with the help of a sarcastic pigeon sidekick in this chaotic debut.

Wield Absurd Weapons in a Stuffed Animal Apocalypse

You will battle through fast-paced arenas using three signature weapons, including the Hamster Shotgun and the Swordfish Blade. The combat utilizes a visceral “Burst System” where enemies explode into clouds of stuffing and fabric. Consequently, every encounter delivers chaotic and satisfying visual feedback that makes each fight uniquely engaging.
Your pigeon companion provides more than just comedic relief, as he offers unique combat abilities to shift the tide of battle. The demo includes platforming sections, environmental puzzles, and a climactic boss fight against a fiery plush monstrosity, providing a full slice of the mayhem.

Experience a Full Slice of Mayhem Now

This demo provides a substantial look at the game’s core loop of combat and exploration immediately. It features multiple enemy types with distinct behaviors to learn and counter, ranging from ranged attackers to aggressive melee variants. Furthermore, the soundtrack comes from the band Brotherhood of the Atom, known for their work on Atomic Heart, enhancing the chaotic atmosphere.
Players can try the demo now in several languages, including English, German, and Portuguese. This release is the perfect chance to experience the game’s uniquely charming and chaotic energy firsthand without any delay.
