Pakistan Showcases Healthcare Innovation at World Health Exhibition 2026
Pakistan is making a major statement on the global healthcare stage. The national pavilion was inaugurated at the World Health Exhibition (WHX) 2026 in Dubai. The event runs from February 9th to 12th at the Dubai Exhibition Centre.
The ceremony was attended by senior Pakistani diplomats. Ali Zeb Khan, Trade & Investment Counsellor, and Muhammad Saleh, Press Counsellor, represented the Consulate General. They joined representatives from the participating Pakistani companies.
A strong contingent showcases national expertise. A total of 40 leading Pakistani companies are participating. They operate under the umbrella of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
These firms are highlighting capabilities in key sectors. These include healthcare manufacturing, medical devices, and surgical instruments. Pharmaceutical innovation is also a major focus.
A Platform for Global Engagement
WHX is among the world’s largest healthcare exhibitions. It is organized under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention. This year’s edition features over 4,300 exhibitors.
The event is attracting more than 235,000 professionals. Attendees include healthcare leaders and policymakers from over 180 countries.
Diplomats highlighted the strategic importance. Ali Zeb Khan stated the participation underscores Pakistan’s growing strength. Its surgical, medical, and pharmaceutical sectors are known for quality and competitiveness.
“The UAE is Pakistan’s second-largest trading partner,” he said. “WHX provides a crucial opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties.” The UAE’s healthcare ecosystem offers a strategic gateway to regional markets.
Building Future Partnerships
The participation aims to boost Pakistan’s international profile. It is expected to strengthen healthcare exports significantly. Furthermore, it will deepen economic cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE.
Pakistani companies are displaying products aligned with global standards. This showcase is designed to forge new partnerships and drive investment. Consequently, it positions Pakistan as a reliable partner in the global health supply chain.
