Saudia and Six Flags Partner to Boost Travel to Qiddiya City’s Mega Theme Parks
Saudia Airlines is taking entertainment partnerships to a new level. The national carrier has signed a five-year agreement with Qiddiya City’s flagship attractions. The deal covers both Six Flags and Aquarabia theme parks.
Under the partnership, Saudia becomes the exclusive airline partner for these destinations. The airline will develop tailored travel packages for visitors. Branded aircraft will promote the parks across Saudia’s entire network.
This collaboration supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy. The goal is to strengthen the kingdom’s position as a global hub for entertainment and tourism.
World-Class Attractions
Six Flags Qiddiya City opened on December 31, 2025. It is the kingdom’s largest theme park, spanning 320,000 square metres. The park features 28 rides and marks the first Six Flags location outside North America.
Aquarabia is set to open in March 2026. It will be one of the largest water parks in the Middle East. The site covers 250,000 square metres with 22 rides and 91 private cabanas.
Both parks are located about 40 kilometres from Riyadh. They are the first destinations to open in Qiddiya City, an emerging multi-venue destination. Once complete, Qiddiya City will house 12 theme parks and 43 sports facilities.
Voices Behind the Partnership
Brian Machamer, President of Six Flags and Aquarabia, commented on the deal. “Our partnership with Saudia strengthens our ability to attract visitors from around the world,” he said. The goal is to set a new global benchmark for immersive, world-class theme park entertainment.
This partnership reinforces Saudi Arabia’s growing presence on the global tourism stage. It combines world-class attractions with national carrier connectivity.
Saudia’s Growing Event Portfolio
This is not Saudia’s first entertainment partnership. The airline has served as the official partner for several high-profile Saudi events. These include Formula E, the Saudi Cup, the Saudi Pro League, and Riyadh Fashion Week.
The Qiddiya partnership represents a natural expansion of this strategy. By linking air travel directly to destination experiences, Saudia creates seamless journeys for visitors. Travelers can book packages that include flights and park access together.
What This Means for Visitors
International tourists now have a clearer path to Qiddiya’s attractions. Saudia’s global network connects to Riyadh from major cities worldwide. From there, the parks are just a short drive away.
Tailored travel packages will simplify planning for families and thrill-seekers. Branded aircraft will build excitement before the journey even begins. The combination of world-class rides and national carrier support positions Qiddiya City as a must-visit destination.
For Saudi Arabia, this partnership demonstrates the integration of aviation and tourism. Both sectors are essential to Vision 2030’s economic diversification goals. The kingdom is not just building attractions; it is building the entire ecosystem to support them.
