UK Neet Youth Numbers Near One Million as Job Market Weakens
The number of young people out of work and education is rising. Nearly one million UK youth are now Neet. That means not in education, employment, or training.Official estimates show 957,000 people aged 16 to 24 were Neet. This covers October to December 2025. That represents 12.8 percent of that age group.
