Pakistan Accuses India of Terrorism, Warns Over Israeli Actions
Pakistan accuses India of terrorism and hostile propaganda, officials said on Thursday. The Foreign Office also warned that recent Israeli actions threaten regional peace. As a result, Pakistan urged global attention to growing instability.
Speaking at a weekly briefing, spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi outlined Pakistan’s diplomatic and security stance. He stressed that Islamabad remains committed to peace. However, he said Pakistan will firmly protect its sovereignty.
Diplomacy, Afghanistan, and Regional Security
Andrabi said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently visited Qatar at the invitation of the Emir. Both sides agreed to deepen cooperation in trade, defence, and political dialogue. In addition, they discussed consultations on Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar departed for Saudi Arabia. He will present Pakistan’s position at an extraordinary meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. Pakistan hopes for unified action on regional challenges.
On Afghanistan, Andrabi said Pakistan’s actions target terrorists, not civilians. He added that Pakistan submitted documented evidence to the United Nations Security Council. However, he described threatening remarks from Kabul as regrettable. Therefore, Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared. At the same time, he welcomed Qatar’s role in easing tensions.
India, Israel, and Justice Concerns
Pakistan accuses India of sponsoring terrorism inside its territory, Andrabi said. He also claimed New Delhi continues anti-Pakistan propaganda. Furthermore, he noted Pakistan closely monitors defence cooperation between India and Israel. Reaffirming Pakistan’s stance on Palestine, Andrabi condemned Israel’s decision to convert West Bank land into state property. He called the move illegal under international law.
Marking 19 years since the Samjhauta Express attack, Andrabi criticised India’s release of convicted individuals. He demanded justice for the victims. Finally, he welcomed protests in Israel during Narendra Modi’s visit. He said such voices show conscience still matters.
