Voxel Survival RPG Everwind Launches in Early Access March 17

Voxel Survival RPG Everwind Launches in Early Access March 17

Developer Enjoy Studio S.A and publisher Bohemia Interactive announce the Early Access release date for Everwind. Everwind Early Access launches March 17, 2026 on PC via Steam for players worldwide. The game blends Minecraft’s voxel world with Zelda’s exploration and Skyrim’s RPG elements. You navigate a flying ship to various islands where you craft, loot, and fight. Your ship serves as a base or hub for discovering the world’s secrets. The first-person perspective works for solo play or co-op with friends. Additionally, a procedurally generated world ensures you never run out of things to do. The fully destructible environment adds another layer of strategic possibility.

Combat and Alchemy Systems

Players make use of swords, bows, and magical staffs for powerful attacks. Furthermore, mastering the arcane art of alchemy unlocks new spells against your foes. Hostile animals and grisly creatures inhabit various dungeons throughout the world. Consequently, the combat system appears adept based on pre-release footage shown.
Character personalization adds a nice touch for player expression. Moreover, the game throws you in and leaves you to your own devices. A short tutorial precedes the open-ended exploration that follows. As a result, the ship serves as the best part of the game according to early impressions.

Hands-On Preview Impressions

GAMINGbible’s Sam Cawley went hands-on with Everwind at Gamescom last year. He came away feeling pretty positive about the overall experience. However, the majority of his demo focused on ground-level preparation for take-off. Therefore, he didn’t get to explore higher than the first tier of floating islands.
Making the ship bigger and placing more things on it offers potential. Nevertheless, more of the game needs to be seen for a firmer judgment. Overall, the experience left him definitely interested in seeing more. Finally, March 17 allows everyone to explore the skies for themselves.
