Austria Tourism Becomes Official Partner of Eurovision 2026

Austria Tourism has become an official partner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The event will take place in Vienna on May 12, 14, and 16. This partnership will showcase Austria as a year-round destination. It also strengthens the country’s international brand visibility throughout the year.

A Well-Matched Cooperation

The collaboration includes comprehensive brand presence worldwide. Tourism-related content will be integrated into the Eurovision experience. This spans TV channels and digital platforms. The official Eurovision app and website will also feature Austrian content. As the world’s largest live music event visits Austria for the third time, it will present the country as a hub of music and culture. The broadcast will highlight both classical heritage and modernity.
Martin Green CBE, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, expressed delight. “It’s wonderful to be working together to showcase the country’s creativity, culture and hospitality to those visiting Vienna and to millions of fans around the world,” he said.

Austria as Cultural Heart of Europe

The contest positions Austria on the world stage as the cultural heart of Europe. The country is rooted in a globally unique musical tradition. At the same time, it is shaped by contemporary creativity and urban culture. This combination of classical and modern elements creates a distinctive identity.
Steharnig-Staudinger, CEO of Austria Tourism, explained the significance. “The Eurovision Song Contest is not just a music event, but a feeling that lasts,” she said. “As an official partner, we are using this world stage of culture to inspire people around the world to discover Austria.” The showcase spans between opera house and club scene, between tradition and modernity. It presents Austria’s vibrant cultural heritage to the world.

International Visibility at All Levels

As an official partner, Austria Tourism will be fully integrated into the contest. Key visibility opportunities include:

  • International brand exposure worldwide through official partner status
  • Global distribution of tourism content via TV and digital channels
  • Visibility at key event formats like the Eurovision Village
  • Involvement of the whole of Austria in side events

International media representatives and travel trade partners attending Vienna 2026 will experience Austria as both host of a major event and an inspiring cultural destination. The focus is on travelers who seek experiences beyond the expected. They understand culture as an expression of a way of life.
In Austria, the Eurovision Song Contest will form part of an international stage. It represents modern, cosmopolitan, and quality-oriented tourism.
