India England T20 Thriller Sends India to World Cup Final Against New Zealand

The India England T20 thriller kept fans on edge until the final over. India secured a narrow seven-run victory in Mumbai. Sanju Samson led the charge with an explosive 89 runs. As a result, India built a huge total of 253 for seven. England chased hard and nearly made history. However, they finished on 246 for seven after a dramatic final over.
Early wickets hurt England’s chase. Phil Salt, Harry Brook, and Jos Buttler fell quickly and added pressure. Jacob Bethell then stepped up with a brilliant counterattack. The young batter smashed 105 runs from just 48 balls. He struck seven sixes and eight fours. Meanwhile, Will Jacks added a useful 35 to keep England in the hunt. Bethell’s late run-out finally ended the resistance. Therefore, India celebrated with thousands of fans at Wankhede Stadium. Next, India will face New Zealand in Sunday’s final in Ahmedabad.

Samson Leads India’s Powerful Batting Display

India dominated with the bat from the start. Samson attacked early and set the tone for the innings. He struck a four and a six in Jofra Archer’s opening over. However, England missed a big chance soon after. Harry Brook dropped Samson on 15. As a result, the Indian batter punished the mistake.
Samson raced to a half-century in only 26 balls. In addition, he smashed several huge sixes across the ground. Ishan Kishan supported him with a quick 97-run partnership. Eventually, Adil Rashid removed Kishan in the 10th over. Even after Samson’s dismissal, India kept attacking. Shivam Dube scored 43 off 25 balls with powerful hitting.
Later, Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma added quick runs. Therefore, India crossed the massive 250 mark. England’s bowlers struggled under pressure. Jacks impressed with two wickets, but Archer conceded 61 runs. Despite Bethell’s heroics, England fell just short. As a result, India now move one step closer to lifting the trophy again.
