Emirates Restores Flights Gradually After Airspace Reopens

Emirates has announced changes to its Emirates flight schedule after regional airspace partially reopened. The airline is restoring operations in phases. Officials say safety and operational stability remain top priorities.
The Dubai-based airline continues to review airspace conditions before expanding services. Therefore, it plans to gradually bring back its full global network. Emirates expects operations to normalize in the coming days if conditions remain stable.
On March 5, the airline carried nearly 30,000 departing passengers from Dubai. This movement marked a major step toward restoring regular travel. As a result, more routes have started to reopen.

Flights Resume Across Major Global Routes

Emirates has steadily expanded its Emirates flight schedule as airspace conditions improved. By March 7, the airline planned to operate 106 daily return flights. These flights connect Dubai to 83 destinations worldwide.
This number represents almost 60 percent of the airline’s full route network. However, Emirates continues to monitor operational conditions carefully.
Several high-demand routes have also received additional flights. For example, the airline now runs 11 daily flights to the United Kingdom. These services connect passengers through five major UK airports.
In addition, Emirates increased flights to India. The airline now operates 22 daily flights across nine Indian destinations. This expansion helps meet strong travel demand between the two countries. Meanwhile, Emirates continues to operate flights to seven destinations in the United States. These routes maintain vital connectivity between the UAE and major American cities.

Travel Advice for Passengers

Emirates has advised travelers to check their bookings before heading to the airport. Passengers should travel only if they hold confirmed reservations. This step helps prevent congestion during the recovery phase.
In addition, the airline gives priority to passengers with existing bookings. Officials say this approach ensures smoother travel operations while the network expands.
Emirates will continue monitoring airspace developments. The airline will share updates through its website and social media channels. Travelers should therefore follow official platforms for the latest flight information.
