Select Technologies IPO Plan: Air Link Subsidiary Targets Pakistan Stock Exchange Listing
Air Link Communication Limited announced that its subsidiary plans to launch the Select Technologies IPO soon. The company shared this update with Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Friday.
The move aims to raise fresh capital and support future growth. As a result, the subsidiary hopes to expand its technology and appliance business in Pakistan.
Air Link Confirms Public Listing Plan
According to the official notice, the board approved the decision earlier this week. The company stated that Select Technologies Limited will raise funds through a public offering. After the offering, the firm plans to list its shares on the PSX. However, the listing will move forward only after meeting all legal and regulatory requirements. In addition, the company appointed Arif Habib Limited as the lead manager and consultant for the IPO process. The firm will guide the subsidiary through regulatory approvals and investor outreach.
Partnership With Global Electronics Brand
Earlier this year, Select Technologies signed a major partnership with Hisense. The agreement focuses on producing and distributing home appliances in Pakistan. For example, the company plans to locally manufacture several consumer electronics products. This step could help reduce import costs and improve supply availability. Moreover, local manufacturing may create new jobs and support the domestic electronics industry.
Air Link’s Growth Journey
Air Link began operations in Pakistan in 2014 as a private company. Later, it converted into a public limited company in 2019. Today, the firm works across several technology sectors. For instance, it imports, exports, and distributes communication and IT products. Its portfolio includes smartphones, tablets, laptop accessories, and other digital devices. Therefore, the upcoming Select Technologies IPO could strengthen its position in
Pakistan’s growing tech market.
Industry observers believe the listing may attract investor interest. If successful, the IPO could mark another milestone in Air Link’s expansion strategy.
