Pakistan Railways Eid Special Trains Announced for Holiday Travelers

Pakistan Railways has announced Eid special trains to help passengers travel home before the holiday. The initiative aims to make journeys easier during the busy travel season. Many people travel across the country to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with their families.
Officials said the new Eid special trains will reduce pressure on regular train services. In addition, the extra routes will offer more travel options for passengers. The decision also aims to improve comfort and convenience during the festive periods

Schedule for Special Train Services

According to the announced schedule, the first of the Eid special trains will depart from Lahore to Karachi tomorrow. Authorities expect a large number of travelers on this route. Therefore, the additional service will help manage the increased passenger load.
The second train will operate from Quetta to Rawalpindi. This route will connect travelers from Balochistan with major cities in the north. Meanwhile, the third train will run from Karachi to Peshawar on Tuesday. The fourth train will depart from Karachi and travel to Lahore on Wednesday.

Easier Travel for Eid Holidays

Authorities expect a surge in travel before Eid-ul-Fitr. As a result, Eid special trains will help manage crowds at railway stations. Passengers can also find more seats during the holiday rush. Officials said the goal is to support safe and smooth travel. In addition, extra trains will reduce pressure on buses and other transport services. Pakistan Railways continues to introduce such services during major festivals. These steps help families reunite and celebrate together.
