OMO X Self-Balancing Electric Motorcycle Enters Mass Production

The OMO X motorcycle is making headlines with a bold new feature. Singapore-based OMOWAY has unveiled this electric bike. As a result, it claims to be the world’s first mass-produced self-balancing motorcycle. The company has started mass production of the OMO X. Pre-orders will open in Indonesia in April 2026. In addition, the official launch will take place in Jakarta in May 2026. At its core, the bike uses the OMO-ROBOT system. This system combines sensors, software, and hardware. Therefore, it turns the motorcycle into a smart two-wheeled machine. It also uses vision-based sensors and fast computing. As a result, the bike can stay upright without full rider control. This makes riding easier for beginners and experienced users alike.

Smart safety and future mobility

A key feature is the Control Moment Gyroscope. This technology is also used in satellites. For example, it keeps the bike balanced even at low speeds or when stopped. The OMO X also focuses on rider safety. It includes slip prevention on wet roads and curve support. In addition, it can detect obstacles and react quickly. These systems respond in milliseconds. Therefore, riders get extra protection in risky situations. This makes daily commuting safer and more reliable. OMOWAY plans to expand in Indonesia first. The company aims to open over 100 stores in major cities. For instance, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Bali are key targets. Pricing and full specifications are not available yet. However, more details will appear closer to launch. As a result, interest in the OMO X continues to grow.
