Nasa’s Artemis II mission has ended in success. Four astronauts swept around the far side of the Moon. They then landed safely back home.

That may sound churlish, but it is true. The really hard part lies ahead. Therefore, the honest answer is “maybe, maybe not”.The future of deep space travel remains uncertain.
