Sci-Fi Survival Game Blind Descent Reveals First Story Trailer
Developer Pokuch and publisher META Publishing (an Owlcat subsidiary) reveal the first story trailer for Blind Descent. Blind Descent survival game follows an elevator crash at an excavation site on Mars. Players discover a hidden world below the planet’s surface after surviving the crash. You start looking for your missing crew members throughout the Martian depths. However, someone else with a different agenda may already be present below. Another scientific team descended earlier to study a local Martian infection. They encountered sophisticated alien technology blocking all their communications systems.
The Symbiosis System
Artificial structures may be remnants of an unknown civilization according to the trailer. The most peculiar discovery involves Martian infections affecting human organisms differently. These infections cause mutations that enable symbiotic bonds with the environment. Players must adapt to a reactive and hazardous alien environment through this system.
Players must start from scratch after crashing at the Martian excavation site. You must craft tools, build a reliable shelter, and adapt to survive. The game launches in Early Access on PC via Steam later this year. The full release will come to both PC and console platforms.
Co-op and Multiplayer
Through multiplayer co-op, survivors can brave the dangers of Mars alone or in groups of up to four players. The co-op survival-craft title offers flexibility for different playstyles. Something more is going on than a simple elevator crash on Mars. The story trailer gives fans a first glimpse into the game’s narrative.
Owlcat subsidiary META Publishing supports this ambitious sci-fi survival project. Pokuch has crafted a mysterious world beneath the red planet’s surface. Players will discover what caused the crash and who else lurks below. Blind Descent promises an intriguing blend of survival and mystery.
