Jason Voorhees Finally Joins Dead by Daylight

Behavior Interactive has officially confirmed that Jason Voorhees will finally arrive in Dead by Daylight later this summer. The legendary Friday the 13th killer remains one of the most requested horror icons in the game’s history, and fans have waited years for his long-awaited debut.
The announcement follows nearly a decade of legal battles surrounding the Friday the 13th franchise rights. Those disputes delayed several projects and forced Friday the 13th: The Game to shut down, leaving Jason absent from major video game releases for years.

Jason Voorhees Returns To Video Games

Jason Voorhees will officially return to gaming through Dead by Daylight after years of uncertainty surrounding the franchise. Behavior Interactive revealed the crossover with a short teaser trailer but has not yet shown Jason’s abilities or gameplay mechanics.
The developers also confirmed that additional information about Jason Voorhees, including his powers, cosmetics, and alternate versions, will arrive during a full reveal later this week. Fans expect the killer to feature brutal melee-focused gameplay inspired by the classic horror films.

Dead by Daylight Expands Horror Legacy

Dead by Daylight continues to strengthen its lineup of licensed horror characters with the addition of Jason Voorhees. The multiplayer horror title already includes icons from Halloween, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Many longtime fans consider Jason’s arrival one of the biggest crossover moments in the game’s history. The addition also marks a major comeback for the Friday the 13th franchise in gaming after years of legal complications and canceled projects.
