STARBITES Launches Across PC And Consoles

IKINAGAMES and NIS America have officially launched STARBITES on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The turn-based mech RPG combines anime-inspired storytelling, strategic combat, and desert-world exploration in a brand-new sci-fi adventure.
The story follows Lukida, a young salvager living on the desert planet Bitter after a devastating interstellar war. Her journey changes dramatically after a mysterious attack by a giant robot uncovers secrets buried beneath the planet’s sands.

STARBITES Delivers Strategic Mech Combat

STARBITES features turn-based battles focused on exploiting enemy weaknesses and breaking defenses through the game’s Fracture system. Players can chain attacks together using Driver’s High mechanics to gain additional turns during combat.
Each party member pilots a unique Motorbot designed around their personality and combat style. Lukida fights using a slingshot-based robot, while other characters use hoverbikes and specialized combat machines during exploration and battle.

Desert Exploration Drives The Story

Players can freely explore the harsh deserts of Bitter while uncovering hidden secrets tied to the war that devastated the planet decades earlier. The game mixes emotional storytelling with themes of revenge, regret, and forgiveness.
IKINAGAMES also confirmed that STARBITES will release on Nintendo Switch 2 at a later date. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch are currently available through the NIS America storefront.
