Students responded with enthusiasm, expressing their commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army in defending the nation.
The ISPR chief also met Punjab University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali and senior faculty members. Academic leaders acknowledged the sacrifices and achievements of the Pakistan Army, particularly in safeguarding the country during recent confrontations with India.
Faculty and students praised the Army’s operational successes, saying its efforts have preserved national security under difficult circumstances. They also expressed appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with senior military leadership in an open and transparent dialogue.
Participants highlighted that such interactions are crucial for dispelling doubts and misconceptions fueled by negative propaganda. They stressed that constructive engagement helps build trust and bridges the gap between young citizens and national institutions.
The session further underscored the importance of raising awareness about fake news and disinformation. Both students and teachers noted that empowering youth with accurate information is essential to counter misinformation campaigns, foster resilience, and strengthen unity in the face of external and internal challenges.
