Civil Awards 2027: Zardari Approves Honours for 355 People
President Asif Ali Zardari has approved Civil Awards 2027 for 355 Pakistani and foreign nationals. The recipients will receive honours for outstanding services in several fields.
The investiture ceremony will take place on Pakistan Day, March 23, 2027. The awards recognise contributions to public service, media, sports, diplomacy and other sectors.
Ministers, artists and journalists among honourees
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi will receive the Nishan-e-Imtiaz for his public services. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will also receive the prestigious award.Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Cheema and Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani are among the other Nishan-e-Imtiaz recipients.
In the entertainment sector, singer Tarannum Naz and actress Nisho Begum will receive the Sitara-e-Imtiaz. Ghazala Kaifi, Sania Saeed, Maria Wasti and singer Zohaib Hassan will receive the Pride of Performance.
Singer Shiraz Uppal will receive the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz. Meanwhile, shooter Kishmala Talat and former Test cricketer Sadiq Mohammad will receive the Tamgha-e-Husn-e-Karkardagi.Senior journalists Saleh Zaafir and Haji Nawaz Raza will receive the Sitara-e-Imtiaz. Ammar Masood, Maria Zulfiqar, Adil Shahzeb and Hammad Hassan will receive the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
Foreign dignitaries and bravery awards
Saudi Prince Saud bin Naif will receive the Hilal-e-Pakistan. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defence Minister Yaşar Güler and Trade Minister Ömer Bolat will receive the Sitara-e-Pakistan.Zobia Khurshid Raja from Azad Kashmir will receive the Tamgha-e-Shujaat. She earned the honour for rescuing an injured police official.In addition, 46 law enforcement martyrs will receive the Sitara-e-Shujaat. The honour recognises their sacrifices in service to the country.
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s physicians, Dr Jal Ratanji Patel and Dr Jal Dhaybho-Koo, will receive the Nishan-e-Quaid-e-Azam posthumously.The awards highlight contributions from Pakistanis and foreign nationals across many fields. They also recognise public service, courage and professional excellence.
