Ufone Telenor Awards Lead Telecom Wins at Dragons Asia 2026

Ufone Telenor awards highlighted a strong showing by Pakistan’s telecom brands at the Dragons of Asia 2026. Ufone and Telenor Pakistan secured nine awards across marketing, public relations, media, digital and content creation. Meanwhile, Zong won five awards for its 5G and creative campaigns.

Ufone and Telenor win nine awards

Ufone collected five awards at the event. Its “Babar Azam’s Lost Phone, Data Bohhaaat Hai” campaign earned two Gold Dragons.The campaign won Gold in Marketing and Public Relations. It also received a Black Dragon in Media. In addition, Ufone won Silver awards for “Super 5” and its 5G launch campaign.

Telenor Pakistan added four Black Dragons to PTML’s total. Its winning campaigns covered several creative categories.

“Comic Feeds” won in Content Creation. “Tension Ko Smash Karo” secured recognition in Digital. Meanwhile, “Karachi Ka Connection” won in Small Budget.

The company also received an award for its Influencer Tactical Campaigns in Public Relations. Therefore, both brands demonstrated strong creative performance across different platforms.

Zong earns five awards

Zong also delivered a notable performance at the Dragons of Asia 2026. The telecom operator won five awards, including two Gold, one Bronze and two Black Dragons.Its 5G Launch and “Aisa Hai Future” campaigns earned Gold recognition. The company also received awards for Zong My5 2025 and Pro Max Hattrick.

Zong used simple storytelling to explain 5G and artificial intelligence. The campaigns focused on how new technology can improve everyday experiences.Marketing Head Sajid Munir said the recognition reflects the creativity behind Zong’s brand strategy. He added that the company wants to make advanced technology easier for people to understand.

Deputy Director Marcom Hina Ali also praised the team’s consumer-focused approach. She said the campaigns combine creativity, strategy and audience insights.Overall, the awards highlight growing competition in Pakistan’s telecom marketing sector. The recognition also shows how brands use digital platforms and creative ideas to connect with consumers.
