Emergency Declared in Quetta Hospitals After Blast Injures Several

The Health Department of Balochistan has declared an emergency in Quetta hospitals. The step came after a blast injured several people.

Doctors and Staff on Duty

Health Secretary Mujeebur Rehman announced the emergency on Tuesday. All doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and paramedical staff must stay in hospitals. As a result, medical teams are working around the clock
According to Dr. Waseem Baig, 19 injured individuals were brought to Civil Hospital and the Trauma Centre. They first received urgent aid in the emergency ward. Later, staff shifted them to the Trauma Centre for further treatment.

Dr. Arbab Kamran, the Managing Director of the Trauma Centre, is closely supervising care. Alongside him, Dr. Hadi Kakar, Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital, is monitoring the situation. Their leadership is helping ensure quick action and coordinated treatment.
