Pakistan Denies False Republic TV Claims on Gaza Troops

Pakistan firmly denies Republic TV’s false report about sending 20,000 troops to Gaza. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting calls the story fake and harmful. Officials say the report aims to spread misinformation about Pakistan’s foreign policy.

False Allegations and Clarification

Republic TV claims that Pakistan plans to send troops to Gaza under Western and Israeli supervision. However, the ministry rejects this claim as completely baseless. It emphasizes that Pakistan does not recognize Israel and does not plan any military cooperation.
In addition, Republic TV falsely states that Pakistan removed the “not valid for travel to Israel” clause from its passports. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports immediately correct the record. They confirm that Pakistani passports remain valid for all countries except Israel. Officials also confirm that every passport still displays the travel restriction clearly and without change.

Pakistan’s Consistent Policy and Support for Palestine

Pakistan’s government continues to uphold a consistent and principled position. It supports the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and freedom. The ministry calls Republic TV’s story a deliberate effort to mislead the public and harm Pakistan’s reputation.
Moreover, the ministry criticizes certain Indian media outlets for using “godi media tactics” to spread anti-Pakistan propaganda. It urges journalists to share facts and act responsibly.
As a result, Pakistan once again states its clear position. The country stands firm with Palestine and promotes peace, justice, and human rights for all.
