Pakistan, Qatar Hold High-Level Defence Talks

General Mirza emphasized the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Qatar, stressing the importance of building on this foundation to expand cooperation in training, joint military exercises, and intelligence sharing. He also highlighted Pakistan’s readiness to work closely with Qatar in addressing emerging threats. Qatar’s civil and military leadership acknowledged Pakistan’s central role in promoting regional stability and praised the professionalism and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces in combating terrorism. Both sides expressed confidence that the HMCC would further cement bilateral ties and lay the groundwork for deeper, long-term defence collaboration.General Mirza highlighted the historic brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar, noting that both nations enjoy longstanding trust and cooperation in defence matters. He stressed the importance of broadening collaboration in areas such as training, joint military exercises, and information sharing to meet contemporary security demands. Qatar’s civil and military leadership, in turn, recognized Pakistan’s pivotal contribution to regional stability and commended the professionalism and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces in the global fight against terrorism. The leaders agreed to pursue deeper cooperation under the HMCC framework, viewing it as a cornerstone for strengthening defence and security ties between the two countries
