Pakistan Beat South Africa with All-Round Team Effort in First ODI

Pakistan beat South Africa in the first ODI at Centurion with a complete team effort. The visitors took a 1–0 lead in the series after a disciplined and confident display in all departments.

Strong Bowling Sets the Tone

Pakistan chose to bowl first and started brilliantly. Shaheen Afridi struck early, removing both openers within his first spell. Hasan Ali kept things tight, not allowing the batters any easy runs.
Shadab Khan joined the attack and took key wickets in the middle overs. As a result, South Africa struggled to build momentum. Despite a brave half-century from Rassie van der Dussen, they were dismissed for 238 runs in 48.3 overs.
