The Run FMV Horror Game Launches on Android as Steam Page Goes Live

The acclaimed FMV horror-thriller The Run has expanded to Android devices while its Steam page goes live ahead of an upcoming PC release. Following its successful iOS debut, the interactive horror experience from filmmaker Paul Raschid continues to build momentum across platforms. The Android version launches at £9.99/$9.99 alongside a new 30-second trailer teasing the terrifying experience awaiting PC players later this year. This multi-platform expansion demonstrates the growing popularity of FMV games in the horror genre.

Cinematic Horror Experience

The Run immerses players in a relentless thriller set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Garda, Northern Italy. Players become a famous fitness influencer whose morning run transforms into a desperate fight for survival against mysterious assailants. The game features over three and a half hours of filmed content with multiple branching storylines, twenty unique deaths, and five distinct endings that respond to player choices in real-time.
The cast brings Hollywood-quality performances to the interactive format, led by Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones) and George Blagden (Vikings). Horror legend Dario Argento and Italian screen icon Franco Nero make memorable appearances, adding credibility to the cinematic experience. Director Paul Raschid brings his expertise from previous FMV successes like The Complex and Five Dates, ensuring polished storytelling and tense decision-making moments.

Expanding Across Platforms

The Android release completes the mobile rollout while the Steam page activation signals the game’s impending PC debut. The simultaneous availability across iOS, Android, and upcoming PC platforms makes The Run one of the most accessible FMV horror experiences currently available. The game has already gained recognition on the film festival circuit, appearing at Raindance London, Motelx Lisbon, and other prestigious events.
The pricing strategy maintains consistency across mobile platforms while the wishlist feature on Steam allows PC horror fans to signal their interest. The new trailer emphasizes the game’s cinematic quality and tense decision-making gameplay that has characterized Raschid’s previous successful FMV projects. With its theatrical residency at London’s Genesis Cinema and Underground poster campaign, The Run bridges the gap between gaming and cinematic experiences.
