Health workers continue awareness campaigns in high-risk districts to prevent further spread. Local authorities are also inspecting public areas, markets, and schools to eliminate stagnant water sources.
Public advisory and prevention
The provincial health department advised citizens to remain cautious. Therefore, people should remove standing water from pots, tyres, and rooftops. They also recommend using mosquito repellents and wearing full-sleeved clothing, especially during dawn and dusk. Moreover, if anyone develops symptoms like high fever, headache, or body pain, they should seek immediate medical attention.
Officials emphasize that community participation plays a vital role in stopping dengue transmission. By maintaining cleanliness and following safety guidelines, residents can help protect themselves and others. The dengue outbreak surges but can be controlled through collective awareness and timely action.
