Pakistan Unveils Sufra Anti-Drone Gun at Karachi Maritime Expo 2025

Pakistan has introduced the Sufra Anti-Drone Gun, a locally developed system designed to combat modern drone threats. The official launch took place at the Karachi Maritime Expo 2025, where innovators showcased the latest defense technologies. This achievement reflects Pakistan’s growing strength in homegrown defense innovation.

Locally Built for Modern Security

Experts at the National Electronics Complex of Pakistan designed and produced the Sufra Anti-Drone Gun. It can jam and neutralize unauthorized drones within 1.5 kilometers and across a 30-degree engagement angle. The gun delivers rapid response and reliable performance, ensuring strong aerial protection.
In addition, the device’s compact and lightweight design makes it easy to carry. Security teams can deploy it quickly in various field conditions. Therefore, it enhances border control and event security while reducing dependence on imported systems. This milestone supports Pakistan’s mission to advance local technology and improve national resilience.

Showcased at Karachi Maritime Expo 2025

The Sufra Anti-Drone Gun attracted significant attention during the Pakistan International Maritime Ex
po and Conference (PIMEC). Demonstrations highlighted its precision, quick activation, and powerful jamming capability. Officials and visitors praised the effort, calling it a symbol of innovation and progress.
As a result, the Sufra Anti-Drone Gun stands as a proud example of Pakistan’s commitment to modern, locally built defense technology.
