Anno 117: Pax Romana Prophecies of Ash DLC Launches April 23

Anno 117: Pax Romana Prophecies of Ash DLC Launches April 23

Publisher Ubisoft announces Prophecies of Ash, the first major gameplay DLC for Anno 117: Pax Romana, launching April 23. Anno 117 Pax Romana DLC introduces a new deity to worship and a resource called obsidian to manage. A new trader named Ceacilia joins the game alongside Cinis, the largest island in the Anno series. Cinis features a volcano that threatens to erupt at any moment during gameplay. These additions challenge players and expand their options for governing their empire. The DLC announcement came during Anno Day, a livestream celebration of the franchise. Developed by Ubisoft Mainz, Prophecies of Ash marks the first of three gameplay DLCs for 2026.

Purchase Options and Pricing

Prophecies of Ash costs 12 €/$ as a standalone purchase option. The Year 1 Pass costs 35€ and includes all three gameplay DLCs for 2026. The Hippodrome arrives in August followed by Dawn of the Delta in November. Players can choose between standalone or season pass based on their preferences.
Executive Producer Stéphane Jankowski states that Prophecies of Ash raises the stakes of the game. The DLC provides the community with opportunities to be more strategic. Players must navigate the complexities that come with growing their Roman empire. The new content expands options for how you govern your territory.

Friend Referral Program

A friend referral program runs from April 9 to May 12 for Anno 117 players. One referral earns 30 Fame Points for the referring player. Two referrals earn 50 Fame Points, and three referrals unlock 90 Fame Points. Fame Points can be used in the Hall of Fame to unlock cosmetics and new music tracks.
The base game is available now across PC, consoles, and cloud services. Prophecies of Ash represents the first major content expansion since launch. The volcano island of Cinis adds new strategic challenges for experienced players. Anno fans have new content to look forward to later this month.
