Apna Khait, Apna Rozgar Offers Land to Poor Families, Says Maryam Nawaz

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Apna Khait Rozgar scheme to support underprivileged citizens. She announced free state land for families who need stable livelihoods. As a result, many people may gain new income opportunities through farming.

Free Land for Sustainable Livelihoods

Maryam Nawaz said the government will distribute 250,000 acres of state land. Eligible citizens will receive three to five acres each. Therefore, families can use this land to build a better future.
She shared this announcement during an event in Rajanpur. The programme aims to reduce poverty and promote inclusive development. In addition, the government wants to strengthen rural communities across Punjab.
The scheme will also introduce a Kisan Card for farmers. Farmers can use it to buy fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides. This step will help improve productivity and support modern agriculture.
Maryam Nawaz stressed that her government will not ignore any district. She highlighted that Rajanpur has faced deprivation for decades. However, she promised balanced growth and equal attention for all regions.

Electric Bus Expansion Across Punjab

During the same event, Maryam Nawaz inaugurated electric bus services in Rajanpur. She said the government will expand modern transport options across the province. As a result, residents will get affordable and comfortable travel facilities.
She also announced the induction of 1,100 more electric buses in Punjab. This move will improve connectivity and reduce pollution. Moreover, it will provide safer transport for students, workers, and families.
The chief minister repeated her commitment to social welfare and infrastructure development. She said the Punjab government will continue creating equal opportunities for every community.
Officials believe the Apna Khait Rozgar scheme and new transport services will bring positive change. Therefore, many citizens expect better living standards and stronger local economies.
Maryam Nawaz concluded by saying Punjab will move forward with fairness and progress. People across the province now look forward to the programme’s implementation.
