Azma Bokhari Condemns Kashmir Oppression on Solidarity Day
Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari strongly spoke on Kashmir Solidarity Day against India’s actions in Kashmir. She said New Delhi revoked Kashmir’s constitutional status by force. As a result, the region has faced decades of oppression and suffering.
Bokhari Highlights Kashmiri Struggles
Azma Bokhari said the Kashmiri people continue to show courage despite harsh conditions. She explained that military power cannot silence their voices. Therefore, Kashmiris remain determined in their struggle for freedom.
She also pointed to ongoing human rights abuses in the region. Bokhari highlighted violence against women and other serious atrocities. In addition, she described Kashmir as the “world’s largest prison” due to the heavy troop presence.
She claimed India has deployed around 800,000 troops in occupied Kashmir. However, she stressed that intimidation has not weakened the Kashmiri spirit.
Bokhari praised the resilience of Kashmiris who continue resisting under extreme pressure. She said they face bullets with faith and bravery. Moreover, she called them a strong nation that refuses to surrender.
Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Kashmir
Speaking on behalf of Punjab’s leadership, Bokhari expressed full solidarity with Kashmiris. She mentioned the Punjab Chief Minister, the Prime Minister, and Nawaz Sharif. As a result, she presented a united national stance on the issue.
She reaffirmed Pakistan’s political, diplomatic, and moral support for Kashmir. She said Pakistan will raise the Kashmir issue at every international forum. Therefore, she promised continued advocacy until freedom is achieved.
Bokhari also expressed hope that occupied Kashmir will soon be free. She stressed that Pakistan’s foreign policy remains incomplete without Kashmir’s liberation. In conclusion, she urged the global community to recognize Kashmiri suffering and support their right to self-determination.
