CouRage to Hold a $100,000 Marvel Rivals Tournament

Jack “CouRageJD” Dunlop, one of gaming’s most recognizable personalities, has officially announced The CouRage Clash, a Marvel Rivals tournament with a staggering $100,000 (~£73,500) prize pool. Scheduled for October 2nd, 2025, the event will mark CouRage’s long-awaited return to esports commentary after a six-year hiatus.
The tournament is being organized in partnership with Marvel Rivals and its developer, NetEase Games. CouRage has confirmed that the event will feature the internet’s “favourite streamers,” and he is actively recruiting additional talent to round out the competitive roster. The prize pool and CouRage’s involvement signal a serious push to blend content creation with competitive esports.
Although CouRage has not been consistently active in Marvel Rivals esports, he is no stranger to the scene. He has streamed the game, uploaded content on YouTube, and remains deeply embedded in competitive gaming as a co-owner of 100 Thieves. The organization’s Marvel Rivals squad recently placed third at the Ignite Mid Season Finals, further highlighting the growing competitive landscape for the title.
This tournament also marks a significant career moment for CouRage. His last major commentary role was in 2018, when he worked with Major League Gaming during the Call of Duty World League. Since then, CouRage has focused primarily on building his brand as a streamer and entertainer, making his return to commentary a nostalgic and exciting moment for fans.

Past Marvel Rivals Creator Events
Marvel Rivals has rapidly built momentum thanks to community-driven competitions. Siarhei “bogur” Alekau hosted the Bogur Bash, which featured 48 professional players and a $100,000 prize pool. Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek ran the Shroud Gauntlet, won by ENVY, while Felix “xQc” Lenyel’s xQc Invitational made headlines with its massive $250,000 (~£194,000) prize pool.
Even earlier, streamer Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang organized the Creator Cup, later followed by a 2.0 edition boasting a $60,000 (~£46,311) prize pool. Each of these tournaments has added momentum to the title, and The CouRage Clash is now set to raise the bar even higher.
