Driver Uses Pagani Zonda Chassis as Apartment Divider in Miami

E00067

Argentine race driver Pablo Pérez Companc has taken automotive passion to a whole new level by turning a Pagani Zonda chassis into interior décor. Installed in his Miami luxury apartment, the striking piece serves as both art and a physical divider between his living space and bedroom. The project began in 2018 when Companc discussed the unusual idea with Pagani founder Horacio Pagani.
The chosen frame, a black carbon-fiber shell nicknamed Black Minion, was lifted into the apartment by crane through the balcony doors before being mounted sideways in the open loft. Suspended like a sculpture, it instantly became the centerpiece of the home.
Despite its dramatic presence, Companc made it clear on Instagram that the installation is not a functioning Zonda Revolucion. Instead, it’s an empty chassis designed as a showcase piece. This distinction matters: only five real Zonda Revolucions exist worldwide, and each is a track-focused hypercar worth millions. As a professional racer and collector, Companc emphasized that genuine Zonda Revolucions belong on the circuit, not as living-room decorations.
Still, his choice highlights how automotive design often blurs the line between engineering and art. For car enthusiasts, the Zonda’s sculpted carbon fiber and aerodynamic form are as visually captivating as any gallery exhibit.By repurposing the chassis, Companc demonstrates a unique fusion of racing heritage and lifestyle design—an example of how supercar culture continues to influence architecture and interior aesthetics. While few people can mount a Pagani in their apartment, his bold installation ensures that visitors never forget where his true passion lies.
