Fitna Hindustan IBO Eliminates Eight Terrorists in Balochistan
Pakistan’s security forces conducted the Fitna Hindustan IBO in Balochistan’s Kalat district on Thursday. The operation followed confirmed intelligence about terrorist movement in the area. As a result, troops neutralised eight terrorists after an intense exchange of fire.
The Inter-Services Public Relations shared the details soon after the operation. It said the forces acted quickly and decisively. Therefore, the mission prevented a possible major attack.
Intelligence-Based Action in Kalat
Security officials launched the operation after receiving credible intelligence. Troops moved carefully to the identified location. However, the terrorists resisted and opened fire.
The forces responded with precision and coordination. Consequently, all eight terrorists were killed during the firefight. ISPR stated that the militants had links with foreign-sponsored networks.
In addition, troops recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site. These materials showed the militants planned further attacks. Therefore, security teams began sanitisation operations to clear the surrounding areas.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to the national security vision, Azm e Istehkam. This strategy focuses on eliminating terrorism through joint efforts. As a result, coordination with law enforcement agencies continues across the region.
Rising Threats and Regional Context
The operation comes amid rising terrorist incidents in KP and Balochistan. Since 2021, attacks have increased near border areas. Many incidents involve cross-border militant movement.
Recently, Pakistan raised concerns with Afghan authorities. Officials highlighted ongoing threats along the Pak-Afghan border. For example, terrorists killed four soldiers in North Waziristan earlier this month.
Following the attack, the Foreign Office summoned the Afghan deputy head of mission. It conveyed serious concern over continued militant support. Moreover, Pakistan reaffirmed its right to protect its people and territory.
Security officials say counterterror operations will continue nationwide. Their aim remains clear and inclusive. Peace, stability, and safety for all communities remain the top priority.
