Flydubai Adds Free Meals, Entertainment in Economy

Flydubai will begin offering free meals and inflight entertainment in all Economy Class fares starting November 2025. The airline made this change to improve customer experience. As a result, the flying economy will feel more comfortable and enjoyable.
The airline said passengers will get complimentary food inspired by its global routes. Local flavours from Africa, Europe, India, the Middle East, Russia, and Southeast Asia will be part of the menu. Also, offerings will depend on the route and flight duration.

Entertainment, Fleet Growth, and New Destinations

Passengers will also enjoy over 1,000 films—Hollywood, Bollywood, Arabic, and international. They will have TV shows from HBO Max, BBC Kids, Cartoon Network. In addition, there will be interactive games, 700+ music albums, and lots of podcasts.
Flydubai’s fleet will grow to 98 aircraft by year-end. The carrier already serves more than 135 destinations. It expects to add new routes and more planes soon. Also, it plans to get its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner in 2027, opening long-haul possibilities.

What It Means for Passengers

This upgrade shifts what Economy Class means. You will get more value without paying extra. Also, you can expect more comfort on many routes. Keep an eye on your route details to see exactly what will be served.
Flydubai is also improving airport experience with dedicated check-in areas and lounges. These changes show commitment to passengers’ comfort both in the air and on the ground.
