Fortnite Partners with K-Pop Demon Hunters

J00121

Epic Games has announced a new Fortnite collaboration, this time with the hit Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters. The crossover introduces skins, cosmetics, and a limited-time mode inspired by the movie’s characters and story.

New Skins and Cosmetics

Players can unlock skins for Huntr/x members Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, alongside themed items such as a ramen-eating emote, ramen back bling, and reskinned weapons. These additions directly reference moments from the film, which has grown into an international success.
Since its June release, K-Pop Demon Hunters has topped Netflix charts and outperformed even Squid Game in early streaming figures. Its soundtrack also achieved impressive chart positions on Spotify, rivaling popular K-pop acts like BTS and Blackpink.
The Fortnite collaboration extends this popularity, bringing a colorful blend of pop culture and gameplay. Some cosmetics also feature nods to side characters, including Jinu’s tiger Derpy and Rumi’s sword, reimagined as Typhoon Blade skins.

Demon Rush Limited Mode

Alongside cosmetics, the collaboration debuts Demon Rush, a new limited-time horde mode. Similar to Call of Duty’s Zombies, the event pits squads against waves of demon enemies. Players can earn perks inspired by the film’s lore, adding unique abilities to battles. Demon Rush will remain available until November 1.
As with other major Fortnite events, the collaboration could expand further. Fans speculate that the rival group, the Saja Boys, may appear later as skins or challenge bosses. While not confirmed, Epic Games often stages collaborations in phases, keeping momentum high.
By combining music, anime-inspired visuals, and Fortnite’s flexible gameplay, this crossover highlights Epic’s strategy of merging gaming with entertainment. The K-Pop Demon Hunters event has already become one of Fortnite’s most-discussed collaborations of 2025.
