Ghost of Yotei Legends Launches March 10 as Free DLC

Sucker Punch Productions announces a multiplayer expansion during State of Play. Ghost of Yotei Legends launches March 10, 2026 as free DLC for existing owners. The expansion adds four-player online co-op and new playable classes. Ghost of Yotei has surpassed sales of its predecessor within the same window. Therefore, this expansion responds directly to player demand for more content. The studio designed this as a substantial cooperative experience, not a limited add-on. PlayStation opened its State of Play with this exciting confirmation.

Expand Your Samurai Experience with Co-op Battles

The expansion centers on a supernatural conflict involving the demonic Yotei Six. Known threats include the Spider, the Oni, and the Snake among others. Up to four players can team up in online co-op to face them. Four playable classes will launch with the expansion for variety.
This suggests a focus on coordinated team play and class-based roles throughout. Mission-driven progression will likely feature prominently in the design. More information about abilities and gear systems is expected soon. The structure builds on what made Ghost of Tsushima Legends successful.

Building on a Proven Formula

The expansion draws inspiration from Ghost of Tsushima Legends directly. That mode offered distinct classes with two-player story missions. It also included four-player survival challenges with progression systems. Ghost of Tsushima Legends was well received for translating core combat into co-op.
Ghost of Yotei Legends builds on that framework with new characters and enemies. New missions rooted in the Yotei setting await players at launch. The March release is approaching quickly for eager fans. Players gain a new way to engage with this stunning world.
