Station Manager Jonathan Ashby said crews brought the fire under control. Still, they have not fully extinguished it. As a result, teams remain on site to monitor risks.
Currently, four crews continue their efforts. They aim to secure the structure and prevent further damage. In addition, officials expect operations to continue for some time.
Residents nearby received safety advice. Authorities urged people to keep windows and doors closed. This step helps reduce exposure to heavy smoke. The building is a Grade II listed structure.
