Honor Introduces the World’s First “Robot Phone”

Honor has unveiled an exciting new concept — the Robot Phone, described as the world’s first smartphone with robotic intelligence. Revealed during the company’s Magic 8 launch in China, the device blends technology with personality, bringing emotional interaction to handheld devices.
The Robot Phone features an AI-powered camera that pops out, swivels, and tracks subjects automatically. It even moves expressively, much like a tiny version of Wall-E, giving the phone a lifelike touch.

More Than a Phone — An Emotional Companion

This futuristic device goes beyond traditional smartphones. It acts as an “emotional companion”, learning from users and adapting to their moods. For example, it can entertain children, suggest outfits, and even film creative angles for videos or photos.
Its robotic arm rotates a full 360 degrees while making playful sounds, adding charm and character. In addition, the built-in AI assistant handles searches, voice commands, and natural conversations, making interactions feel more personal and intuitive.

Concept, Not Yet Reality

Visually, the Robot Phone has a sleek and modern design, enhanced by the animated pop-up camera that feels almost alive. However, Honor has clarified that this creation currently exists only as a CGI concept. There are no official specifications, prototypes, or release dates yet.
Even so, the Robot Phone has already sparked global curiosity, hinting at a future where smartphones become companions — not just tools.
