PML-F leader Sardar Abdul Rahim raised serious concerns about the outbreak. He said at least nine children have died from a mysterious skin disease. However, he believes the Sindh government failed to respond quickly.
He described the situation as alarming and deeply troubling. Moreover, he accused officials of criminal negligence. Many parents also reported that hospitals lacked proper treatment facilities.

Rahim strongly criticised the District Health Officer’s response. He called the statement irresponsible and insensitive. For example, officials expressed hope for recovery instead of taking firm action.
He also highlighted delays in medical testing. Samples from affected children were sent to Karachi. However, no reports have been released so far.
As a result, uncertainty around the disease remains high. Authorities have not confirmed whether it is chickenpox or monkeypox. This delay has increased fear among local communities.

Rahim demanded the declaration of a health emergency in affected areas. He urged the government to send specialist doctors immediately. Furthermore, he called for strict action against negligent officials.
