LHCBA Biometric Elections Set to Transform 2026–27 Voting Process

The Lahore High Court Bar Association will introduce LHCBA biometric elections for its 2026,27 polls. The bar wants to create a transparent and secure voting process. This shift marks a major moment for the legal community in Lahore.
Lawyers have already started registering for the new system. However, they must complete their biometric verification by December 31. The bar encourages members to begin early to avoid delays.

Registration Process Underway

The LHCBA team invites lawyers to visit the Admin Office for verification. They must bring their original CNICs to complete the process. In addition, staff members remain available to guide everyone through each step.
Farukh Ilyas Cheema, the association’s secretary, highlights the importance of timely verification. He explains that only verified members can cast their votes. As a result, early registration helps ensure full participation and smooth polling day operations.
Cheema also reminds lawyers to double-check their information before submitting it. This simple step prevents errors and strengthens trust in the system.

A Step Toward Transparent Voting

The bar believes this digital shift will redefine its election experience. The biometric system increases accuracy and reduces human mistakes. For example, the technology prevents duplicate entries and confirms each voter’s identity instantly.
In addition, the system creates a reliable digital trail. This improves accountability and builds confidence among members. Many lawyers welcome the change because it supports fairness and inclusivity.
The LHCBA hopes this new model inspires other associations in Pakistan. Therefore, the upcoming polls may set a strong example for the future. Members look forward to a smoother, faster, and more secure voting process in 2026,27.
