Mohsin Naqvi Calls for Calm After Khamenei Martyrdom

Khamenei Martyrdom Reaction drew a strong response from Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday. He called it a day of mourning for the Muslim Ummah and the people of Iran and Pakistan. Moreover, he expressed deep sorrow over the reported death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Naqvi said every Pakistani stands in solidarity with Iran during this painful time. He described the loss as deeply heartbreaking for the Muslim world. In addition, he stressed that Pakistan shares the grief of the Iranian nation.

Naqvi Urges Peace and Restraint

The interior minister urged citizens to remain calm and responsible. He asked people not to take the law into their own hands. Instead, he encouraged peaceful and lawful expressions of grief. Furthermore, Naqvi emphasized that protests must stay within legal limits. He said authorities will ensure public safety and maintain order. Therefore, he called on everyone to act with patience and unity.
Iranian state media confirmed the death of Ayatollah Khamenei in alleged strikes by the United States and Israel. Following the announcement, Iranian authorities declared seven days of national holidays. They also announced a 40-day mourning period.
