NADRA Mobile Vans Relaunched Across Punjab to Serve Remote Areas
The NADRA mobile registration service has resumed to assist residents in remote areas across Punjab. The campaign restarted on Monday and will continue until November 14. Mobile vans will visit districts including Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalnagar, Khanewal, Kot Addu, Layyah, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Lodhran, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Vehari, Pakpattan, and Rahim Yar Khan. The service operates daily from 8 am to 4 pm, allowing residents to apply for and collect identity documents conveniently. NADRA has posted district-wise schedules on its website to help citizens plan their visits. By bringing services closer to people, NADRA ensures that even those living far from urban centers can access CNICs, family registration certificates, and child registration forms without traveling long distances.
Women Registration Center Opens in Dera Ghazi Khan
In a major initiative, NADRA inaugurated the country’s first-ever Women Registration Center (WRC) in Dera Ghazi Khan. Located at the Mall of DG Khan on Multan Road, the WRC provides a safe and comfortable environment for women. The center offers registration services including CNIC issuance, family registration certificates, and child registration forms. Officials highlighted that the center empowers women by giving them access to legal identity documents with dignity. It supports financial independence, property rights, and political participation. Women can now complete registration processes without facing social or logistical barriers.
Mobile Vans and Public Access
The mobile registration vans complement the Women Registration Center by reaching remote communities. Citizens can visit the vans during their daily schedule from 8 am to 4 pm. NADRA emphasizes that both initiatives strengthen access to legal identity across Punjab. Residents are encouraged to use the mobile vans and WRC to complete CNIC registration efficiently. Officials also noted that these services reduce the burden on permanent offices while promoting inclusivity. By combining mobility and women-focused facilities, NADRA ensures that every citizen, regardless of location or gender, can obtain identity documents conveniently and safely.
